As the education landscape continues to evolve, Cornerstones stands out as a leader in providing innovative curriculum resources for educators.
We sat down with Simon Hickton, the Founder and CEO of Cornerstones, to discuss their new product, Quick Teach, their objectives for Bett 2025, and their collaboration with SPYRO.
About Cornerstones and Quick Teach
---
SPYRO: Can you tell us more about Cornerstones, the vision behind your new product Quick Teach, and how it complements your existing offerings like Maestro?
SIMON: Since 2010, Cornerstones has been dedicated to providing primary schools with quality curriculum lesson plans, ideas, and resources. These are all now housed on Maestro, our flagship platform.
With Quick Teach, we wanted to ensure that EYFS and primary teachers, home-schoolers, and student teachers anywhere in the world could access the same high-quality resources. Quick Teach was born from this vision, enabling us to broaden our reach and impact.
Goals for BETT 2025
---
SPYRO: What are your primary objectives for attending Bett UK this year, and how do you see Quick Teach being received by the audience?
Simon: We are thrilled to demonstrate how Quick Teach allows primary teachers, home-schoolers, and student teachers to access quality lesson plans, ideas, and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
Visitors to the SPYRO stand will be able to sign up for a free five-day trial on the spot, instantly gaining access to the platform. They’ll see firsthand how Quick Teach saves time while maintaining the high standards educators expect from Cornerstones.
Participation on the SPYRO Stand

SPYRO: Why did you choose to take the Headline Sponsorship on the SPYRO stand, and what aspects of SPYRO’s approach align with Cornerstones’ goals for Bett?
Simon: Working with the founders of SPYRO, we were immediately drawn to their innovative approach. SPYRO’s mission to connect global partners aligns closely with our goal of providing educators worldwide with access to quality resources. Their platform serves as a bridge, helping schools and teachers discover the tools they need to succeed.
Perspective on SPYRO’s Market Impact
---
SPYRO: SPYRO aims to redefine the EdTech space by connecting global partners and promoting innovative solutions. How do you think SPYRO will influence the market, and what role does Cornerstones see itself playing in this shift?
Simon: It’s crucial for SPYRO to showcase the very best education resources and simplify their distribution worldwide. Their platform has the potential to transform how educators access tools and solutions, and we’re proud to contribute to this movement with Quick Teach and Maestro.
SPYRO: How do you see your partnership with SPYRO extending beyond Bett, and are there specific ways you’d like to collaborate with other EdTech companies featured on the stand?
Simon: We’ve already committed to featuring information about Quick Teach and Maestro on SPYRO moving forward. Additionally, we’re always excited to meet other education innovators at events like Bett and explore potential collaborations.
Cornerstones continues to lead the way in creating meaningful, impactful resources for educators. With the launch of Quick Teach and their partnership with SPYRO, they’re poised to make a significant impact at Bett 2025 and beyond.
